Candle Care Instructions

To ensure you get the most out of your wood wick candle, follow these simple care instructions:

• Trim the Wick: Before each burn, trim the wood wick to approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inch. You can do this by gently breaking off the burned edges of the wick with your fingers or using a wick trimmer. A properly trimmed wick will help the candle burn evenly and prevent the flame from becoming too large.

• First Burn: Allow the candle to burn until the wax melts all the way to the edges of the container on the first burn. This helps to prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn for future use. For most candles, this takes about 2-3 hours.

• Burn Time: Avoid burning your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time. This helps to prevent overheating and preserves the quality of the fragrance.

• Extinguishing the Candle: To extinguish your candle, it's best to gently blow it out or use a candle snuffer to avoid splattering hot wax. Avoid using the lid to extinguish the candle, as this can damage the wick and create smoke.

• Re-Center the Wick: After each burn, while the wax is still soft, gently reposition the wick to the center of the candle. This helps ensure an even burn and prevents the glass from overheating on one side.

• Avoid Drafts: Keep your candle away from drafts, vents, or fans, as this can cause uneven burning or excessive smoke.

• Safety First: Always burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

• Storage: Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. This helps to preserve the fragrance and prevent the wax from melting or discoloring.

• Dispose Properly: Stop using your candle when about 1/2 inch of wax remains. Continuing to burn the candle when the wax is too low can cause the glass to overheat and potentially break.

Shipping Timeframes: Standard Shipping: Orders are processed and shipped within 3-4 business days. Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days after your order is shipped, depending on your location.

Shipping Destinations: I currently ship to addresses within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Unfortunately, we do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally at this time.

Order Tracking: Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to track your package online.

Delivery Issues: If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact me at lunastudiocandles@gmail.com within 7 days of the estimated delivery date. I will work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Additional Information: Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. In the event of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, shipping times may be delayed. We will notify you if there are significant delays with your shipment.
